Paul F. Sherman received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1981 and his law degree from the University of Tulsa in 1985. Mr. Sherman is the chairman of the Property Law Committee of the Missouri Bar Association and vice-chairman of the Greene County Planning and Zoning Board. He practices in the area of real estate law, municipal and local government law, insurance law, business and commercial litigation. Mr. Sherman has over 18 years of civil trial experience primarily involving insurance defense matters and counsels clients on a variety of real property issues including premises liability, contracts, title and boundary disputes, zoning issues, surveys, construction and landlord/tenant disputes.
Mr. Sherman practices before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri; and all Missouri-State and local courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation, General Practice Sections), Missouri Bar Association, Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers (MODL).
In our community, Mr. Sherman is active in Boy Scouts (Troop 235 Committee Chairman), Kiwanis (President 1996-1997, Missouri-Arkansas Lieutenant Governor 1999-2000), all kids' sports (married, father of four) and outdoor activities. |
